Dear friends, August is just around the corner and with it comes the ‘new’ challenge to find persons such as you who will give a little to help much. This year we add at least 5 new students which just completed their Secondary education and are seeking to extend their formal preparation for career. The basic criteria regarding higher education (both Academic and vocational) is for parents to provide at least 1/2 of the financial requirement to continue the education, that process is ongoing. Our hope is to assist these families in their desire to advance the future through the potential of education, to do this we need friends who will embrace the potential of breaking the cycle of poverty and illiteracy. Education is the answer.
We currently have set a budget need for this group of assistance requests at $3000.00. This amount will insure 6 students in their career pursuit will have another year without worry of being turned away.
We are very excited for this season as for more reasons because one of our current students is due to graduate University, one is currently in his final semester and our nursing student is close to completion. Truly an amazing season as the future is NOW.
