The Structure of Responsibility
Two board members of Go and Do Likewise, Eaar Oden and Bud Potter, plus GADKenya board member Kiefa Ontiri and Eric Mogendi (Director of YMI – Young Motivators Initiative) are meeting in Niarobi, Kenya to discuss the future of this dynamic relationship. Local leadership development has been an important ingredient in our humanitarian efforts in rural Kenya.
Due to the success of seeing more students entering in to Secondary levels of education, the need to secure the school fees for an ever-expanding enrollment has been coupled with the increasing number of students now ready to enter in to higher education – plus others graduating from colleges/universities, and entering the work force. The exponential growth of the educational assistance process demands a greater understanding and a projected analysis of efforts moving forward. A somewhat daunting but completely exhilarating task.
As the meetings continue, thoughts are shared and decisions are made. Something’s definitely cooking in the kitchen . . .
